Bluegrass Power Generation LLC is in early design stages and anticipates applying to the Ohio Power Siting Board for certificate approval in 2025. Pending approval from the Ohio Power Siting Board, construction is anticipated to begin in early 2026.

Bluegrass Power Generation LLC must obtain a Certificate of Environmental Compatibility and Public Need from the Ohio Power Siting Board to construct, operate, and maintain Bluegrass Power. The Ohio Power Siting Board requires electric generation facilities greater than 50 megawatt go through the standardized siting process for a certificate.
